I’m launching today.
(yay! more about that later)
But, do you want to know what I did all day on Saturday?
I decided at the last minute that I hated my sales page & completely redid it with a new template.
And now… I freaking LOVE it.
Because, launching should feel good, it should feel like YOU, and you should be really freaking excited to share your offer with your community.
Anything less is going to impact the bottom line of your launch.
I get asked a lot about systems & tech setup for online businesses. This is central to the work I do with my VA and strategy clients. We get really clear about what the business needs are and then find the right tools to do the job.
I have a Northstar when it comes to making decisions about what systems & tech I suggest to my clients. I always ask,
“Does it decrease your workload or stress level while also increasing revenue potential?“
The best tech for any business is one that creates more TIME and MONEY!
This is particularly true when it comes to the setup for a launch because you don’t need a lot of tech to launch an offer AND there are some things you can (and should) do to create more ease and ensure your launch runs smoothly.
Here are 3 things I would never launch without & the tech I suggest for each one:
Email marketing is still the best way to sell your offers and the more you want to sell the more emails you should send. It’s that easy.
This is launch tool #1 and while you can launch without a list, why would you when you could have warm leads to market to that have already said “YES” to learning more about what you do?
My suggestions for email marketing tech setup:
If you’re selling something, you need a way for people to buy your offer. You can keep this really simple by invoicing your new clients using a free tool like Wave Accounting or you can use a more robust cart system that can automate payments & confirmation emails.
My suggestions for payment system tech setup:
This is where your audience will go to learn more about your offer. There are many many options for your sales page and they each have their benefits and drawbacks. Ideally wherever you host your sales page can track visitor numbers so that you can keep track of your conversion rate.
My suggestions for sales page tech setup:
When you have these three essentials you can easily communicate about your launch & sell your offer and as you can see this can happen without spending a lot of money if you don’t have a significant cash flow in your biz yet.
If you LOVE the simplicity of a Google Doc for your sales page – then that is perfect for you.
If you’d rather invest in robust automations & sales page with a design that screams your brand through every image & word – then that is perfect for you.
Ultimately, being proud of what you create & feeling excited about sharing it sets the stage for a successful launch, so don’t ignore this part. Your clients, your business and your amazing work in this world deserve this kind of attention.
