“But, what does it mean? Why should this matter to me?”
I think everyone’s copy & content writing would improve if they asked themselves these questions before posting anything.
To be clear, I’m not talking about grammar or having perfect sentence structure (there’s Grammarly for that).
I’m talking about writing in a way that makes your ideal client pay attention.
You might even be an amazing writer, but if your audience doesn’t feel understood or like you can help them, your copy isn’t going to help you make sales or grow your business. That’s because good copy is less about the aesthetic and more about the message. Everything you write for your business can and should serve a purpose. That purpose is to paint a picture of who you are and why you’re perfectly suited to help your ideal client with what you do.
Here are five things you can do today to improve your copy:
Don’t stress about it, your writing doesn’t have to be Jane Austen quality – it just has to be CLEAR and your client needs to know that you’ve got their back.
